Wedding Activities

For those guests who decide to stay on for a few days and want to get to know the beautiful region of Puglia a little better, the following can be booked through Discovery Travel

1. A Walking Tour of the Baroque City of Lecce

The guided walk starts at 10 am when our English speaking guide will introduce you to the magnificent architecture of this fascinating culture rich city. The tour ends very congenially with an aperitif at a typical “Leccese” bar.

2. A Guided Tour of the Trulli of Alberobello

Alex and his colleagues explain the history behind these cute and curious little white-washed houses, endemic to this part of Italy.

3. Gastronomic Tour of Puglia

Meeting at the Town Hall in Alberobello we visit a wine cellar for tastings, an olive oil Masseria, the local mozzarella cheese producer and a local farm.

4. Mamma Mia!

Meet up with Mamma in Alberobello – she will take you to the local market where you spend some time to choose your ingredients to cook. Then - a really entertaining morning of cooking and learning lots of Mamma’s special secrets and afterwards eat together in the friendly atmosphere of her home.
